So, someone got censured for reporting facts. If this is the direction that the media in Singapore is going to take, I’m beyond certain that their demise is understated.

A recent satirical children’s book showed how piracy can actually boost sales. Months before the book came out, a PDF of the story was leaked online and promptly went viral. Yet the leak generated so much interest in the book that eager readers soon pushed it to the top of Amazon’s best-seller list.
Piracy is actually a form of product marketing. If a user likes it and the product is priced acceptably, the user will buy it.
Otherwise, they wouldn’t have bought it any way.
Back in February 2007, I blogged about a certain Straits Times article. This article discussed a formalised initiative by the PAP, to penetrate anonymously into cyberspace and covertly post pro-PAP comments.
Ah, maybe this is linked to the numerous stooge or fake accounts making pro-establishment comments on Facebook?
